Dan Gillespie, President of Lighting Resources, LLC, a national lamp and ballast recycler, announced the opening of a lamp recycling facility in Forth Worth, Texas. The new facility, located at 101 East Bowie, will be operating as a "large quantity handler" until a lamp processing machine is installed later in 2010. Mr. Tom Slattery is the Facility Manager. Tom has over 14 years of experience in the lamp and ballast recycling industry, most of which has been in the Texas market. "The establishment of the new lamp recycling facility is a significant financial investment, and will enable Lighting Resources to increase the level of service to our Texas customers," said Mr. Gillespie.
"In addition, I am proud to announce that Mr. Steve Remley, past owner/operator of Environmental Light Recyclers, and a Past-President of the American Lamp and Mercury Recycling Association (ALMR), has agreed to join the senior management team of Lighting Resources. Steve is well known and respected in the recycling industry and brings his unique set of administrative skills, experience and wisdom to our company."
Mr. Gillespie also announced the appointment of Brian Anderson as Facility Manager in Tampa, FL. The Tampa location currently operates as a transfer station but will install a lamp machine the first part of 2011. Brian has been instrumental in the extensive logistics with the startup of the Fort Worth location. Lighting Resources, LLC is headquartered in California with branches in Ontario, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Fort Worth, TX; Greenwood, IN; and Tampa, FL.
