Recycled Lamp Cullet

Lamp Recycling Services

Mercury is a key element in energy efficient lighting. While there is no direct risk to the end user, the health and environmental risks associated with it's use are ever present. This is why we are obligated to dispose of these lamps in a responsible manner.

Lighting Resources provides lamp recycling solutions that are second to none. Our facilities have been designed to accept intact and pre-crushed lamps of all sizes and types. Our "cradle to grave" treatment process limits the superfund liability inherent with the use of other recyclers that utilize brokers for the treatment process. Lighting Resources does not broker out any portion of the treatment process.

Some of the types of lamps we accept for recycling include (but are not limited to)...

Unlike many of our competitors, we can also accommodate your intact lighting fixtures.

Packing, Shipping and Storing Your Lamps

Packaging your spent lamps for recycling can be a burdensome task. The central idea is to prevent breakage during storage and shipment. It is recommended that you package your spent lamps in the boxes in which your replacement lamps were packed. We understand that this is not always possible and this is why we can provide an assortment of materials such as fibreboard drums, cardboard boxes, steel/poly drums, buckets, and labels. Lighting Resources can even provide on-site storage solutions.

Many options are available for you to get your spent lamps to our recycling facilities. Smaller quantities can be easily managed using our prepaid recycling services. We can also accommodate weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and yearly, bulk pickup schedules. Talk to our customer service representatives today to arrange your shipment.
